Beautiful…this is why I became a nurse 30 years ago…to serve others. I’m incredibly thankful to my school of nursing for always focusing on these critical qualities of a nurse. Without them, the nurse-patient relationship is significantly impacted in a negative way & patient healing- physically, spiritually, emotionally & psychosocially- is compromised. As I’ve heard quoted “It’s not about me, it’s never been about me & it’ll never be about me.”
