Twenty-two veterans commit suicide per day

As I walked through the gym the other day …

Wearing my ’22’ …

180507 22

A young man stopped me …

“I like your shirt.”

“Thanks,” I said. “Do you know the meaning?”

“Yes, sir. My father is a veteran.”

Twenty-two veterans commit suicide per day.

Veterans in emotional crisis and their loved ones can call the free and confidential Veterans Crisis Line at 1-800-273-8255 and Press 1.

And

Can send a text message to 838255 to connect with a caring, qualified VA responder who will help.

And as I shook this young man’s hand, “Much gratitude to you, your father, and your entire family young man.”
